Johnathan Goree MD is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he is the Director of the Chronic Pain Division, Interim Neurosciences Service Line Director, and Chief of Staff at UAMS Health. Dr. Goree considers himself a “quality of life” specialist who focuses on patient led goals instead of pathology.  He has published over 40 peer reviewed manuscripts and given 100s of national and international lectures.  His research interests include novel implantable technologies for complex pain care, implementation of chronic pain education, racial disparities in chronic pain care, and complex regional pain syndrome.
