Dr. Salas is Chief, Pain Medicine Service at the Las Vegas VA. He completed medical school at the University of Southern California, residency in PM&R at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, and Spine and Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship in Santa Maria, California. Dr. Salas is a board-certified in PM&R with Certificates of Added Subspecialty Qualification in Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine. Academic appointments include Clinical Assistant Professor with the UNLV School of Medicine and Program Director of the ACGME Pain Medicine Fellowship. He is involved in scholarly activity and serves on several National pain committees.
