Activity Overview
Auricular acupuncture, an ancient practice spanning centuries, offers clinicians an additional therapeutic avenue for managing patients' pain complaints. Its simplicity, safety, effectiveness, and cost-efficiency render it a valuable tool in clinical practice. This workshop serves as an introduction to the fundamental principles of auricular therapy, demonstrating its seamless application. Participants will gain insight into this skill through educational sessions and hands-on experiences. The practical component involves learning a specific pain protocol and practicing needle and seed placement using ear models. It's important to note that while this workshop will provide valuable education and experiential learning, it does not offer certification in Auricular Therapy nor fulfill the requirements for practicing it professionally. Attendees are encouraged to seek further training and pursue board certification for comprehensive expertise in this field.
